You may encounter problems with printing Chinese characters with certain models of printer under Windows 98/ME, but not in Windows 2000/XP. To solve your problem, kindly download a patch file, and follow the instructions below:

1) Click to download print.zip, and choose Save when prompted. You may save into your local directory such as the My Documents folder.
(To unzip the patch file requires Winzip 7.0 and above, which can be downloaded here)
2) MAKE SURE YOU QUIT HANSWARE BEFORE PROCEEDING!
From My Computer or Windows Explorer, go to the directory (e.g. My Documents folder) where you save the file.
3) Double-click on print.zip to activate Winzip.
4) Click on I Agree when prompted.
(You will see 3 files in the .zip file, namely HansWare.exe, Cprinter.exe and printfe.dll)
5) From the menu, click on Actions -> Extract..., select the folder where you install HansWare.
(Default path for HansWare folder is C:\Program Files\Creative\HsVision\HsWare\)
